Common types of waste gas include: Organic waste gas (VOCs): Such as benzene, toluene, xylene, formaldehyde, styrene, etc., mainly from spraying, printing, and chemical production.

Inorganic waste gas: Such as sulfides (SO₂, H₂S), nitrogen oxides (NOx), chlorine gas (Cl₂), ammonia gas (NH₃), etc., commonly found in power plants, steel plants, and fertilizer plants.
